- Applicable licensing and qualifications for the trade and jurisdiction
- Evidence of appropriate insurance
- Relevant completed projects and experience
- References, including experiences after the sale
- Communication, professionalism, and accountability
- Capacity and suitability for the proposed work
These checks are expected before a company is represented as a vetted trade partner. Qualifications may change, and final verification remains important. Vetting is a safeguard, not a promise of perfect performance.
