Walton County pool permit preparation
Florida · Planning guide · Beta
Walton County’s permit library brings together building applications, coastal forms, the Notice of Commencement and separate trade applications. Use the official library to find the current documents, then confirm which ones apply to your pool and property.
Start with the correct authority
Start by confirming the building and planning authorities. For an incorporated property, ask whether city planning approval is needed as well as county building review. Coastal and flood conditions can change the drawing requirements; do not assume every parcel needs the same design package.
Questions to settle before submission
- Which current swimming pool application and checklist should be used?
- What drawings and flood-zone documentation apply to this parcel?
- How should plans be uploaded, and which related trade permits are required?

Prepare your project with LANDOVA
Our beta helps organize information for new private residential pools in this jurisdiction. It identifies missing information and lets you continue with an incomplete draft after reviewing the notice. Remaining confirmation items are shown in the tool. This is preparation assistance, not a complete or municipality-approved permit packet.

Choose your property and project type to check availability. Other outdoor living trade workflows are still being researched. Pool houses and ADUs are excluded; accessory structures with plumbing or electrical are outside the agreed accessory-structure scope.
